Sunday School-- Deacon Johnny Mills serves as Superintendent of the Sunday School.  Lessons are studied from the Standard Lesson Commentary which features printed scripture from the King James Version. Verse by verse the lesson is explained with detailed background with the opportunity to ask question and much more.  Classes are provided for all ages and are taught by various members of the church.  The opening song begins at 9:45 am.. 

Director Of Christian Education--Sis. B. Phillips serves as planner and curriculum advisor  for the Youth Department.  Computer classes are also available for members thru the Christian Education Department.

Midweek Bible and Prayer--On each Tuesday evening the doors of Mt. Ridge are open for a study of the upcoming Sunday School  lesson.  Class is taught by guest commentators and Pastor Jones.  Wednesday night consist of dinner beginning at 6:00 pm.. Hymns, prayers, scriptures and testimonies can be heard in the sanctuary awaiting the bible class to be taught by Dr. Jones or an appointed instructor.

New Members-- Upon uniting with the body of Christ new members of Mt. Ridge gather for a new members orientaion.  This class is taught my Pastor Jones.  Roman's Road is a great highlight of this class. To know there is none righteous, all have sinned, for by one man sin entered, the wages of sin is death but........if we confess and believe.....allow the new converts to know we are all sinners saved by grace.   Glory to His Name.
New members are made knowledgeable of the foundation of Mt. Ridge Baptist Church.

Deacons/Deaconess-- The Deacon/Deaconess Ministry has a commitment to assist the Pastor in every aspect of the vision that has been given to him by the Lord.  To be available to the widows and the less fortunate; to be partners in conflice resolution; to be partners in planning, in administration, in Ministry and in outreach.

Youth Ministry--Under the leadership of Dr. Jones, we are committed to the training of our children and teenagers the doctrine of the Holy Spirit.  It should be recognized that every youth and young adult has the potential to become good and faithful Christians.  They will aquire the knowledge and wisdom to study the Holy Bible to show themselves approved.  In doing this they will have a better understanding of who God is; and the purpose that has been assigned to them as believers and servant of our Lord and Savior. 


Music Ministry--The Music Ministry of Mountain Ridge Baptist Church is under the direction of Ms. Cathy Wright.  The Ministry consist of the Youth Choir, Inspirational Choir, the Male Chorus and the J. D. J. Dance Team.  Our purpose is to Ministry thru song.  To provide an avenue of Praise and Worship for all members to be able to uplift their voices to not only encourage others but to also to encourage themself.  The J.D.J. Dance Team allow the youth the Minister and enjoy lifting up Christ thru song and dance.

Transportation Ministry--Under the leadership of Mr. Todd Moore.  The services are provided so that anyone desiring to attend any service will not be denied the opportunity to hear the word of The Lord.  The transportation Ministry also assist with member appointments local and out of town.  The youth of the city look forward to being picked up for Mid-week services.

Greeters and Usher Ministry---We realize that there are many Churches that are avaliable for you to attend here in the city, but the Greeters of Mountain Ridge Baptist Church enjoy opening the doors and welcoming YOU into the house of the Lord.  The Ushers are there to assist you with any need that you may have.
